I had a similar experience going to a local restaurant and I left my targa off and the windows down. Everyone that entered and to stop and take a look around the car. My family thought it was too funny how many people were interested, and my "gf" was, of course, jealous of the attention LOL.

Hi!
I just have to tell you a story guys. The first time i ever saw a C5, i was in Florida on vacation with my wife. Suddenly, along the way out to the key`s i saw this great looking black Vette, so i turned our rented car around and stopped to have a look at this dream machine. I got out of the car realy quick and just stood there close and looked at this beautiful car. Now my wife had also got out, and we both just stood there and WOW!!!
Suddenly the alarm in the vette went off, and we both just jumped through the sky.Then we heard a bunch of guys sitting and laughing in front of some
kind of a bar across the street, i suppose the car owner hit the alarm button on his key fob. Very funny for them...
Since that day back in 97 i have dreamed of this car, in sep. last year i got a 1999
mag red coupe
