Those who are experts in the cam area please help me choose one.
Ok im looking for a good streetable cam, i will primarily use this on the street and it will rarely see track use(track here sucks). I want it to be lopey and i want people to hear me. Funds will only allow for a cam install and probably heads down the road(funds allowing). So whats out there for me.
Thanks
Jake
PS id love to talk to someone locally but lack of lsx tuners forces me here. Ill do this before contacting a vendor.
PSS: Headers will be bought first. waiting for income tax

DO you have headers. There are a variety of cams that will work for your application. Something like our Stinger Cam(224/232) works very nice. Has a nice lope with excellent drivability, power and torque. You could go a little bigger as well. Just watch not to go with too big of a cam that will have any surging or bucking. I would suggest talking with several vendors. We install and tune many different cams day in and day out. If you have any questions send me a pm. I'll be happy to help if I can.
I would do headers first. You dont want to choke down the extra air that the cam is going to be pushing out. Do some longtubes and something along the lines of an MS3 or a G5X3.
