DIC Question
I was just watching an auction on tv and they were auctioning off a 2004 vette. I saw the guy turn the key on and the DIC flashed Corvette by Chevrolet. Does the Z06 not do this? I don't recall mine saying this when I turn the key on.

Next time you start your car pay attention. They have all always done this. If yours doesn't, there is something wrong. On the C6's you can even program it to say whatever you'd like it to.

Yup! Both my 02 and 03 did it. The first time I noticed it was the one time I left the steering wheel tilted downwhen starting the car. I'd forgotten about it because I hadn't seen it in a long time with my wheel left up when starting. It's there.....

I guess I have not been paying a whole lot of attention. I just usually jump in the car and go. It does say that in mine too. I guess I could slow down once in a while. Usually I stick the key in the ignition, turn the key to start and as quick as the car fires, I am rolling.Wonder what else I am missing! LOL!
