C5 CarPC Project
Well I am almost done with putting a CarPC into my 2001 vette and wanted to share few pics.
I am trying to find a corvette logo or the CORVETTE letters that is small enough to fit between the buttons below the screen.
I took off the Touch screen logo and now have a bare area thats noticable below the screen. Was thinking to stick a corvette log but didnt find any yet. Any ideas?
The ON/OFF CarPC button is protruding out. Trying to find something with shorter that will flush with surface.
Still need to figure out how to secure the USB hub in the glove compartment. Trying to make it look part of the glove compartment

I installed a CarPC in my Explorer a couple of years ago and plan on putting on in my '97 vette also. What size of monitor did you put in there? Where's the computer at? Would like to see more pics!!

The touch screen is a 7inch Lilliput screen the 2008 model with LED not the older version with CFL or something along those lines. About the sunlight got to wait till summer so far the visibility is great.
The PC is embedded in the middle compartment in the trunk so not seen well hidden will take picx and post them.
Still need to do some touch up as i mentioned in post 1
