Hey guys with my aftermarket rims, I am not running my tire pressure sensors. For some reason the left rear and only that wheel keeps registering 0 psi, and the flat tire message keeps popping up. Seems to randomly do it on the road, but when i pull in the garage it does it everytime... Weird! Anything I can do about it?

Your car being a '97, you cannot turn off the TPM's. About all you can do is keep hitting the reset button when the message appears or install the TPM's. Just curious, why did you chose to not install the TPM in your aftermarket wheels?
That is a bit odd. I put new wheels on my '99 w/o the sensors (because it's a pita and needless $$ to spend), but I just get the standard Check TPMS message (or whatever it says). I just hit reset and go on my way.
It doesn't register as 0 on the DIC...just stays blank, and I've never had anything come up as a flat tire. So, I'm not sure what yours is doing.
Having to press reset once when you startup isn't a hassle, but it sounds like you're having to reset a lot. I'd recommend searching the tech pages, but I haven't heard of that before.
