Changed the oil and filter. Mobil 1 , 6.5 quarts, Mobil 1 extended life filter. No leaks, good oil pressure...next day check engine light.
Nothing appears wrong. Any ideas?
Sort of. But just about any time you get a check engine light, you can think of something that was slightly unusual or different about the car in the previous few days. The thing is, there is pretty much nothing about a correctly done oil change that could possibly cause a check engine light enless you did something to the car you are not telling us or are unaware you did. Just pull the code and go from there.

I had my oil pressure indicate 80 psi and 130 psi on the DIC after an oil change. Was convinced I did something wrong..nope sending unit failure just timed wrong I guess.
