Hey now. Be careful about what you say... some of that "rice" can be the real deal. Unfortunately you have to sort through a ton of crap.

This is my other toy and my Z06's garage mate. In a straight line it will eat my Z06 for lunch. Absolutely no contest.

Overall I still like driving my Z better though.

It's nice to see that he is willing to convert over from the import crowd. Well done! I don't think he will regret the change. There is nothing else quite like a vette. And if he is handy with a wrench and likes to tinker, the C5 is a great canvas. My hat is off to you for letting him use the basement like that. He will have respect for you for that and possibly think twice about pulling any boneheaded 22 year old guy moves. And I have to carry on the "nice garage" theme that has been going on. Cheers!

Mike

By the way, my daily driver work truck is like the diesel that ate his lunch. It's pretty amazing what you can pull out of a diesel with a few mods and tweaks. The vette is faster overall, but the truck can put down better 60' times at the drag strip. The benefit of having all four wheels grabbing along with a HUGE turbo. Don't get me wrong, the vette is WAY more fun and WAY faster, but I can understand what he meant about the diesel. Thanks.

No he's anti-body kit and i asked about his wheels and he came back with some type of Japan / China made that don't weigh anything.

Rice would go good with some of those Mule Deer or Elk backstraps!

No stickers, no big wing or annoying exhaust. All go, very little show.

I pay my respects to all forms of horsepower, it's all about your specific passion.
