Torch Red / Black interior - Opinions Please
Putting together my order for new ZO6 - Torch Red -
Can't decide if the interior should be Torch Red / Black or should I be conservative and stick with Black. Anyone with either I'd like to know how you like it or if you have pics to post. I've not been able to see either combo live & in person.

I wish mine had Mod Red interior. It's the only option I didn't get and wish I had. :yesnod:

My Torch Red '01 has a mod red interior. Looks great. Glad I got it that way. I think the mod red interior goes especially well with black and red exteriors.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I like the black interior. It is definately more conservative. I built a model car 40 years ago and painted it red and black and never liked the color combo then.

It's a Corvette! It's a Z06! What is there to be CONSERVATIVE about??? Go with the mod red. You'll be happy you did and besides, even if you ever change your mind, there will be many, many people standing in line to trade you their black interiors PLUS some cash, I reckon. :)
BOBSZ06 -- Great interior shots! Where did you find the red accessories, such as that really cool center console cover with the Z06 logo. Sweet!

jpanda, am i confused, or are you asking a different question?
The Torch Red, is exterior color, then you have Mod Red, Red, & Black................
Are you asking if you should have the RED/RED?????
Or the TR/MR?????????
Versus the black??.
Keep in mind, when you get ready to trade in or resale.......you will get stiffed if you go with MOD RED interior........

I have not liked the red interior of the past, but the current red is awesome. I think the combo red/black interior is a perfect compromise is you have sensitive retinas. I actually have reservations for the black interior. Sorry guys, but it just seems to look a little cheaper than some of the other colors. JMO.

Speedy, like it or no........most folks tend to lean to the conservative side........just the luck of the draw.........

No question in my mind. See sig. I've received lots of positive comments on the color choice.
ps: Don't worry about being conservative with the red vette. It is going to attract attention anyway. I hope you get a chance to see one, but if you don't, the mod red interior is not quite as bright as the exterior Torch Red, but I don't think anyone minds. The overall effect of the color combination is unique to the red Z06 and I think is FANTASTIC!
BTW: The Chevy salesman who sold me the car had a Monte Carlo Pace Car with red inserts in the seats. :chevy When I picked up the Z06 he had to show me his car and he was all excited that his seats/interior was like mine! ;)

:hat I have the 02 Torch Red/Modified Interior and I just love it. Really sets the car out. Also, installed the Torch Red Partition which I bought from Andy Mages is Dallas.
Have had several Black interior cars and the modified is now my favorite.
