Default Yellow Foglights?

What series HID would I need to have yellow fogs? I've driven some euro and *** imports that use these and frankly I believe for foglights they are the best option. And I know Le Mans and other racing series cars use them for their setups also for a good reason.

I have yellow fog lights....by accident. One of my lenses was broke and was going to buy a new one. Before I could get one, I bought my beater dodge ram that had aftermarket fogs on. They did not work and I saw they looked just like the vettes. I pulled them out, did the switch...and light was yellow. I thought it was cool so I did the other side.

Yellow ones do help better than white for fog IMHO.

This is true. In visually impaired conditions, light closer to red in wavelength is more detectable by the eye. Yellow produces the most lumens output per watt but IMO Amber is superior for visual acuity. I had a set of 55w Amber lens fogs on my first truck and it was supurb for poor weather.

Is this just a bulb replacement or did you rewire? If it is a bulb replacement, is there more than just 3000K that I need to know to order?

I can order up some HID 3000k (yellow) fogs. Attached is a customers pic of the bulbs he ordered from me which are for the winter months. The last pic shows the 6000k fogs he ordered for the summer months.

If you don't want to go the HID route, I assume you could just buy a yellow H3 bulb and use that. I did that on my previous car.

I was going to post those same pics but I see you already did!

I love my 3000k fogs! Works in the fog and in the rain. Love that you can switch to 6000k for the summer!

Here are a few more pics...

I love that last pic in the series that Jhonathan posted of the 6000ks. I'm glad he talked me into them for both my lows and fogs.

Whichever temp you choose, you can't go wrong getting them from Jhonathan!

All right, I'm interested. What does a kit containing 35w HID 3000k and 6000k fogs run? And that pic above with the switchbacks in addition to the fogs looks awesome.
