i have tried everything to lessen the wind coming in my windows. i think it has actually gotten worse if that is possible. i know the roof needs replaced can't afford that right now. but both side windows are terrible. i tried the tip in procedure on passenger side a few days ago and it is worse than before. i am going to buy new weatherstripping for the back of doors that runs over back of targa top. my question is does anybody have any ideas as to where to take it to have windows adjusted properly and might as well have them install the weatherstripping also. i refuse to go to the dealer for anything. safelite auto glass or somewhere?? i live 40 miles north of pittsburgh. i will travel if i have to just want this problem fixed. it really embarress me nice looking car and people that ride in it has to put up with wind blowing in windows. let alone rain coming in when it rains.

Find yourself a really good body shop in your area and ask them to take a look at it. Try contacting a local Corvette Club and see who they would recommend.
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and visit your friendly neighborhood Chevy dealer. Granted, you'll pay premium dollar, but chances are it'll get fixed right.
Any good local glass shop can adjust that for you.
Not always, especially on C5s. I just went through a year + problem of getting weather strip installed correctly after having my windshield replaced. The dealer's body shop may be able to make a recommendation. Most of them do not do their own glass work and subcontract it to a company that comes to their shop and does all the work right in the shop. That is how I finally got my problem corrected and the insurance company is recovering their money from the original glass company.
vertial movement
forward/backward tilt
inward-outward tilt
Assuming the window alignment is the problem, a combination of adjusting these should fix the problem. My car's problem is the weather stripping on the sides of the targa roof. The car leaks in rain and even light hand washing
