Kwiklift Experience
Thanks

I have a special case where I am using it on a tiled garage floor, so I took some extra steps to add rubber casters and some stacking blocks where I could store it when I don't need it. Most people leave theirs completely assembled and you can also lie it flat and park on it when not in use - I just did not want to go that route. The way mine is set up, it takes me 10 minutes by myself to set up and tear down (less if I did not have a tile floor to protect).
A two or four post lift would be better in most cases, but there is the added expense and it is ALWAYS in the way when not in use. If you have a 6-car garage they are a dream, but for me I just needed something that was strong, safe, and somewhat portable. Highly recommend.

That said, I've done a ton of fluid changes, installed an underdrive pulley, and just today lowered my C5Z and my buddy's C6. I lay it flat and just park on top of it.
I highly recommend it as an alternative to a four post lift.
Ultimately, however, there is no replacement for a two post hydraulic lift.
In my case, neither lifts would work, so I purchased a Quik Lift. No regrets; used it many times and my corvette buddies like it too. Make sure your floor jack has the raise height of at least 21 inches, so you can set the lift’s rear stands.
The Quik Lift has the perfect height if you’re using a creeper – you can roll under the car and it’s not too high to be a nuisance. Low enough, so when my hood is opened, it’s not hitting the ceiling. The only draw back to this lift system is the added steps you need to take when you want the wheels off.
Definitely a safer way to raise a car higher without setting it on blocks of wood and as the name says: Quicker too.

I have had mine for about 2 years now. After looking around I knew (due to height of garage) I was not going to be able to get a full size lift and the Kwik Lift was exactly what I needed.I am in the middle of LG long tube header install this weekend and the lift is a big help!!!
take it easy,

It does need skid tape of some kind on the middle rail, if the tires are wet they will spin. I bought a 4"x60' roll from Graingers it fits perfect on the middle rail.
I also made a platform out of wood to be able to use a floorjack from the side to remove the wheels if needed.

Looks like it would be great for those of us who move often.
