There is a Monterey Red , but that's on a C-6.
There is a Magnetic Red and an Anniversary Red on C-5's
Of course there is also Victory Red and Torch Red.
There was also a light Carmine Red.

I just went through the whole Black Book and there is a slew of reds (Venetian, Roman, Riverside, Signet, Rally, Monza, Mille Miglia, Medium, Dark, plain Red, Ruby, and many more not to mention the C5-C6 reds) but no mention of any Mandarin Red.

Where or Who told you there was a color called Mandarin Red for a Corvette? Were you looking at a specific car at the time? Perhaps they got the name wrong? If it was that car owner that told you the name then it must have been a custom paint job.

Here's a thought. Throughout the GM car/truck line they will use the same paint from one line to a different line (Corvette compared to Camaro for example) and just change the paint name. IE; some GM cars used a purple called "Amethyst" but when used on the Corvette called it "Medium Purple Pearl Metallic", Paint was the same, but with a different name.
Just Maybe Mandarin Red saw service on some other GM car or truck.

Like I said earlier, I'm a girl and don't know cars. Anyway according to the owner it is a 2007 which would make it a C6 and he said the color is Mandarin Red.
Sorry for posting in the wrong section but when you don't know the exact year of the vette I took a guess and guess wrong.
