Well, the time has come for me to say adios to my car. I haven't sold it yet but have made a decision to sell it. I did at some point have it here for sale, it ran for about 1 week maybe 10 days, but only had 1 inquiry and from Canada. I wasn't rushing on selling it, but there's a lot of cars here with mileage of 35K and up and from 04 and newer that was close to my asking price even though I have lower mileage of 20K, it wasn't enough to peak any interest from potential buyers, so competition is tough not to mention today's lazy car market. So I decided to have it locked by the mods. I won't get another car until fall of next year, but I figured might as well sell the car now than lose more value next year. By the way, I am jumping ship and will go to the yard of Vipers. Hopefully to get in a 2001 or 2002. If not I'll settle with 98,99 or 2000. This forum have been really helpful and I really learned a lot about Corvettes. I am hoping to be back in the saddle in 10 years when my house is paid for and I can afford to keep both the Viper and the Vette, but for now I can only afford and allowed to have one. I have a couple of items for sale that was going to be installed on my vette before I decided to sell it but never got around to installing it.
Yup, no plans on getting the Viper until next year. So I will have no toy for the time-being which would make me a jealous, jealous man until I get another toy. So hopefully I can sell it.
Best of luck finding a good Viper...and no more driving fast when the roads are slippery...they didn't get ABS till 2001 and no traction control...but I'm sure you know that....HAve fun!! Indy

Isn't that the fun part Honestly, when driving my Vette on wet roads, it feels as though my traction control ain't working. And the ABS, haven't felt it work since I bought the car -because I suppose I never needed to use it - I do have spirited launches here and there from a stop but I do follow the speed limit + 10 mph.
Drive one before you buy one. I think they drive like crap, are not comfortable, and the A/C sucks something fierce. They also cost 150% more to mod. I'm sure you know all this so GL on the sale.
