Somebody painted the corsa tips on my car to match the rims I had on it. I now have chrome rims. What would be the best way to remove the paint and can I do it without harming the tips. Thanks for the help
Carb cleaner will take it off. They are either chrome or stainless,,won't hurt them!! Spray it on a rag for polish prep on any of them,,cleans any sooty residue instantly,,ready for polish. Should eat the paint right off. Could use paint remover as well!!
Awesome, just wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt them. They also painted the stock rims black and clear coated them. I wonder if it would take that paint off. I am trying to sell them .

I suspect it would be tough to stop the paint removal process at the original stock color if you did a good job of preping them before you painted them. Best bet is to find another member who would like black rims.
