I need to hide the harness from the newly installed rear CD changer. Panels to be removed are: front right kick panel, door sill, lock pillar trim, trunk center carpet trim and L/R rear corner trim. The panels I am having
trouble with are the two rear corner carpeted panels in the trunk of my 2000 C5 Coupe. Does this panel pull and snap out ? I found no screws or body rivets. With the hatch latch there I am afraid to put a lot of pressure on this panel. Thanks
Thanks everyone. Installed a home made CD trunk mount this morning. Will pull panels and
route harness tomorrow. Thanks again everyone.

Every panel is easy on a Vette coupe. Those on the back have one plastic threaded nut you remove on the side. Then by the roof hold downs just pull away from the rear. The tricky part is clearing the bolt. It helps to release the bolt and you can manipulate it through the hole. It's a little hard to explain but they are easy to remove. I had every panel and all the seats and carpet out of mine early this week and I was surprised how simple the car disassembles.
