Dust, dust and more dust
I keep my 98 Roadster in the garage. Dust is slowly building up on the paint. I have some friends coming over for a dinner and movie night at our house and it will be the first time they get to see this car. I was wondering is there anything I could use to wipe the dust off without having to wash it to make it look well you know pretty?
Only two more months before I can start driving it.

If the Vette is only dusty, use The Ultimate Detailer....it will also bring the colour out...makes it shine like glass

The California Duster is about the easiest way to remove a dust buildup on the car.

My California Duster is my black '99 coupe's best friend. I keep it in the garage - hit it with the duster almost every time I take the car out.

I called NAPA and they only had Maguires Deluxe in stock. How close is that to Maguires Ultimate or is it way off? Thanks

and i bought a thin (like nylon) cover for about $35 at Ecklers or Corvette America that i use to keep the dust off. It's much easier to put on than the heavy fitted ones and stores much easier and smaller for trips. then i don't have to use the duster as much or the quick detailer. I also have the heavy cover but use it less since the car is in the garage most of the time anyway.

I have noticed when there is a decent amount of dust, a california duster will get some but smear the rest. Blowing it off, there will be some that will stick.
I dont like to use a duster due to the amount of dust, you are just pushing it around. I myself would wash it.
