Default One week later . . .

. . . and I'm still in Corvette Heaven. I've been able to drive to/from work every day so far this week and for my 25.4 mile one way drive down the highway, taking the car to work has been great. The hard part is whiling away the day, the 8 hours, until I can get back in and drive the 25.6 miles back home.

It will snow up here on Sunday so that might put the kibosh on driving on Monday and Tuesday, all depends on how fast the snow melts on the streets around my house, and whether the salt/calcuim chloride dissolves on the road as while I will drive in the rain/winter, I'll avoid the full-on salted roads so as not to pickle the metal on the car.

Mine is a DD. Me and some of the guys at my job went to lunch today. There were 4 of us. One guy has a 4 door truck. Even though I could have rode with them, I decided to drive by myself. Worth it

And may the feeling never grow old. I haven't driven mine since last October. Another month or so and I should be back on the road!

Default Lucky Dog!

You lucky dog! I haven't been able to drive the vette since mid November. And there is still another month or so to go until I can even get it out of the garage. I have to say that I am a bit jealous. Enjoy it for me!

I know the feeling. I have been a C-5 owner for six weeks now. Didn't drive it today because I had to haul off old Vette tires and take a racing trans to my bud for a major repair. It rained like hell all day so, it wasn't a big problem. I really feel for all the folks that have to put their car up for the Winter.
