Check the paint code in the glove box to be sure.
I think they could be.... I've taken pix of mine that came out like that. It depends on lighting, camera exposure, etc. MSG does tend to flip-flop a little...
The first one does look like spiral gray to me. That is a great color and does look different in various lighting. Do you have any other pics of it (the emblems for 2003 were very specific).

Not a great shot of the emblem, but here is one. I asked them through e-mail if the color had a "bluish" tint, and he said no.

Yup,
that's spiral gray. As stated by others, it looks different in different lighting. Those pictures look like they were taken on an overcast day or in the shade.
The first one is definitely spiral gray. The second one looks different because it's reflecting the blue in the sky outside (you can even see that the sky is blue in the reflection). The best way to get an accurate pic of SGM is to do it on an overcast day, otherwise it casts an almost greenish hue because it's picking up so much blue from the sky.
Spiral Grey will take on a differant tone in changing light conditions. In the bright over head sun it looks lighter. In the late afternoon it appears darker.2003+4 are the only years available.Check the color code.It looks right to me.
