The biggest I would go on that wheel is a 305 but I think some people use a 315.

There comes a point to where the shape of the tire is altered by being on a wheel that is too small for that size tire.

Why are you looking to put a 325 on a 10.5" wheel anyway? Please don't say for looks LOL

ding ding. you'll need wider wheels. if you want a 325 get a 12" wheel but you'll probably be sticking out of the fender.

you could do a 18 front and 19 rear.. it's up to you

are you making a ton of HP and need more meat on the ground?

No I don't have a ton of HP for now, but in the future i'll get

I just don't know wich size of wheel will fit on my car.... I don't want to be sticking out of the fender. Is there a solution to put beautiful 20inch at the rear and 19inch at the front???? depending of the offset ???

I want the size to start to shop for wheels !!!!!
I want something like 345-30-20 at the rear or any else good size

With 345s you will need to install fender flares or you will have to tub the rear. Depending upon which choice you make (flares or tubbing) you will have to get wheels with the right offset for the choice. If you go to larger wheels and tires think about weight. Big wheels and tires look good but they can waste a lot of horsepower. The more weight in the wheels and tires the more power it takes to spin them. People pick up a couple tenths in the quarter mile going from 18 inch drag radials on the back to 16 inch drag radials and putting skinny wheels and tires on the front. You will lose a couple tenths going up much in size and weight on the wheels and tires. IMO the best all around choice is to keep the light wheels the car came with and just go up to 275-40x17 on the front and 305-35x18 on the rear. This combination will only add a little weight and with the right tires will improve traction and handling. Some people say 315s work well on the rear wheels other people have done that change and say the tire is too wide for the wheel and the tread is slightly distorted because of it.

Ok so its a better idea to keep the stock rims for now!

When I will have more HP I will put 20" and sell the stock wheels

And for these HP I think that the best way to start is to change the complete exhaust line? I already have KN airfilter kit.

Wich exhaust kit is the best for sound and hp???
I know I'm off-subjet

thanks

The best and cheapest exhaust for horsepower gain is headers with straight pipes, and if you still have your carpet in its not that loud when driving around town. You can run 335 on a 10.5 rim, but as another member wrote you will not get the benefit of a wider tread print on a narrow rim. Ideally you would want a 315 35 18, but Kumhos are the only that make a tire in that size. However their design still has about the same tread print as a 295.

I run 295 35 17/ 335 35 17 on 96 gran sport wheels when going to the track. If you want to slow your car down, go to 19" and 20". You will have greater mass to move on the rear when you accelerate and greater mass in the front when you brake. Larger wheels are only good for larger rotors. A larger rotor is not going to mean you will stop quicker as well. The best combination is the smallest wheel with the largest rotor. I use 13.4 on 17" front wheel

I think the best mod you could do is long tubes. these cars react very well to them.

as far as exhaust, you're gonna get 12 different answers from 13 different people... however, i have noticed that the borlas are popular on here.

On this chart, http://marktg.toyotires.com/file/30029.pdf

It's write that the 315-30-18 fit on a 10,5" wheels
is it true or it's a better idea to buy 305-35-18
thanks

The 305/35/18 is the correct size to use, as a 315/30/18 is way too short for a C5.

295 35 17.

section widths can change with different brands, so in some cases your tread print can be the same on a 275 and a 285.

you will have to purchase the headers separatly. I used the factory pipe setup in order to save money, but I did a little cutting on it. Try Borla stingers for the back section. (be mindfull that to change your starter, clutch your headers will have to droped)

I have 315's on my stock wheels and I will not go that route again without going to an 11" wheel, the tire does not put the entire contact patch down due to a slight "ballooning" effect. The 305 is perfect for the 10.5" wheel. If you want sticky tires get the Nitto 555 extreme II's and buy them heat cycled, and expect to replace them every year. If you want a good daily driver tire that will last and "look" wider then go for the Goodyear GS-D3 in the stock 295 size (the front matching tire will have to go up to a 275)
As far as going with 20" rear wheels you may want to reconsider that for a while not just because of the weight issue but also the tire selection in 20" is very slim (at least for now)

Ok so, the best is to keep the factory headers and change the back section for the Borla Stingers? Is is good for HP ?

And for the rear tires:

Here the nitto 555 cost me 450$ can each + applicable Tax for the 305-35-18

On tirerack.com I can buy 2 Goodyear GSD3 for 582$ including shipping in 295-35-18

Do you know where I can shop for the Nitto?? because tirerack.com doesn't have it

Thanks buddies for all the info!
