I was checking my dic volt gauge the other day while driving. In the past, the numbers would stay constant without changing, ie: 14 volts or so at start up, then drop down to 13.4 and remain there.
This time, the numbers would constantly flicker back and forth by .1volt, sometimes .2, generally in the area of 13.7 to 14.0, at speed. At idle, the charge rate would drop to 13.4-13.7.
Get ready to change the battery within the year. My OEM battery lasted only 4 years. Oh by the way, the change out is very simple and nothing is lost, all your presets are in memory.
