Ive had mine for 4 yrs, I think I got it thru Vette Essentials, great mod and many good comments. I don't think the Vararam will fit without modifications. the Tiger Shark will allow a good air flow to the aircleaner. I have a Blackwing and I think it gets all the forced air it needs. it fit very well and seems well made

Reason: addition
It's made by Starcraft. No after market mold is ever perfect, but real good. A very little finesseing is necessary for proper fitment. I don't think the Vararam will work from what I've heard. I too have the Blackwing. I love the TS front end, and by far it's the best out there(I'm biased). Call vendor West Coast Muscle Cars and ask for Claude. He is one of their distributors and can answer any questions you have.
Ok guys, I wanted to upgrade to the tigershark front bumper, but I had a few questions?
1. Who makes it? Starcraft, Duraflex Body kits, EP, who is it. Any recommendations too one or away from one.
2. I have heard that my Vararam will still work?
3. Are there any fitment issues, more than expected with a GM front?
Your help and advice would be greatly apprechiated.
Thanks!!!
Starcraft makes the original,Duraflex makes the copy(called TS not tigershark) both will need some prep before install. vararam will fit with modifications.
I have the TS front and vararam
Vararam will work with the Tigershark front but will require modifications on the vararam. Even though about a 1/4 of the intake will be blocked on each side meaning driver and passenger side I didn't see a loss in performance. I'm twin turbo now and yes it will work with a LPE or APS system.
This is a great deal. I have a "real" tigershark front and it didnt fit that well. Foam had to be trimmed, the bumper had to be fitted many times and it still is not perfect. If you dont jump all over this then you missed the boat in my opinion. I might buy the front lip if someone with a TS tries it and it matches well.Cajun
The only people complainng about the fitment of the TS bumper are the ones who don't have it,Go figure

If any one tells you a Tigershark or Tigershark copy will bolt-on with perfect fitment... it just isn't so. As Spiral04 notes, there is some finessing that will be required. This is why I would strongly recommend anyone who gets one of these bumpers to go to a competent shop that has tremendous experience with aftermarket body kits.
I had to have my Tigershark re-done at second shop because the first shop I picked did a "butcher" job. Here is the result after the second shop,
Mine is from Starcraft (via WCMC) and although it looks good, the body shop needs to be experienced with aftermarket parts. My guy wasn't very good but usually I'm the only one that can see the gaps.

There is StarCraft and TecStar and then the TS version as well. I have the TecStar and had it fit by a good body guy and the fitment is real good now. There were a few low spots that needed that black 3M material to fill them in. Cost $600 to have done to my standards.
I want the rear fascia now but am holding off for a bit more since this involves lights and exhaust changes.
I own the original Tecstar tools and sell the body kit to various suppliers. I also run the original C6 tools for CDC. Knowing what fit problems have been experienced would be greatly appreciated so any common problems can be taken care of.
