Default Which catback sounds...

Closest to OEM at idle, and not obnoxiously loud at WOT, but loud with a musclely tone?

So far I am thinking the B&B PRT system, and thats plus becuase the quad oval tips IMO look the best.

I originally want the bullets, but after picking the car up and driving it, I've had a change of heart, and really want something with little to no drone in the car.

So whats your opinions? Would the PRT be the right choice?

i've got the PRT with the oval tips, it's far from quiet, very far, its alot louder at idle, and extreemly loud WOT, this is with the stock manifolds/cats/hpipe the videos you see on youtube do it no justice in sound, cruising at 60-5 it's pretty toned down tho, you can still hear it, but easily carry on a conversation

Other than the sound level does it sound similar to the Ti exhaust? By that I mean, some of the corsa's I heard sounded almost as if the car had a cam, the exhaust was choppy/lopey at idle.

I don't mind if the exhaust is louder (not obnoxiously loud), but I want it to be a smooth sound at idle, with no or very little drone at highway speed.

My brother had a B&B system on his TT300ZX and I loved the sound of it, this is partly why I continue to look in this direction.

I have the NXT system on my car, and am very pleased with the results. Sounds amazing at WOT, but doesn't drone all that much. Here's a nice review on it: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...installed.html

I would say GHL based on your criteria, but there is a rumor that they're defunct.

Corsa or Magnaflow should not be on your list for musclecar sound. Look for clips of B&B, Borla (non-stinger), maybe others.

.

i'd say no, it's still pretty choppy at idle, that's in the H pipe, if you want it smoothed out you should look into a X pipe for it, it's got little drone on the highway but you'll still hear it
