Default C5 Z06 Speedlines vs. replicas, weight difference?

Anybody know the weight difference between originals and replicas? Thinking about powdercoating my wheels but, wouldn't mind buying fakes if the weight is close. let me know. thanks

Weight is no where near close

19/20lbs approx for the real deal front/rear and anyhting from 22/25 to 27/29 for the repros.

I had repros on my car for a week, and the front felt so lethargic and vague I switched bak to the stock fronts just to get back the feeling of nimbleness.

If you are just a freeway cruiser then yo umay not notice the weight change at all, but if you enjoy what little feedback our cars dogive then, you will.

I've got chrome repros... (high quality) that came with the car

I've seriously been thinking about having some stock wheels chromed because of the weight.

I love the way chrome looks on a red Z... I can't bring myself to discard them for painted ones.

The '04 CE has polished wheels, but they still don't shine like chromies.

OEM. Un-sprung weight is the enemy!

Exactly what I felt. I found they were about 10lbs more than stock, and my car felt like a DOG. I put the originals back on and it felt like I gained HP big time ! Handling came back too. I sold the cheapo set right away.
