Default Underdrive pulley?

For those that have installed it, did you notice any difference? Performance gain? Pros or Cons. I'm planning on having a cam, pulley, & LT headers installed pretty soon. Is there anything else that I should & should not do? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks & have a great day!

I noticed that my crank pulley wasn't wobbling anymore. It will be off anyway for the cam install, it'd be stupid not to change it out. I have and recomend the Powerbond unit. It's a nice piece.

If you're ever going forced induction, nitrous, or the like...have the crank pulley / crank snout pinned.

if he ever does go FI he'll be removing that UD pulley anyway for stock dia or OD one.

So no need for the underdrive pulley if I decided to supercharged or turbocharged? Thanks

nope, you'll be spinning the s/c slower with a ud pulley, as for turbo pretty sure a ud pulley would give you benefits still its not belt driven.

What gains can be expected of a 25% underdrive? Also, are there any negatives to this in the Z06? Charging systems, headlights etc. will still function correctly?

Something to consider when doing a cam or heads or both. (and there is mixed opinions on this) Seriously consider putting in some SVO 30# injectors with your proposed upgrades. You can pick a full set up new for about $250.

When having my cam install done, my tuner said that an UD pulley could give me ~9 rwhp.

I have one. No negative side effects for me. It runs very true and does not throw my belt as apposed to the stock pulley that wobbled and did throw my belt.
