38 cent caliper shim bling!
Well I hated the look of black shims behind my white powdercoated calipers. So I bought some aluminum step flashing at Lowes and trimmed up some shims. Not perfect, but is looks alot better then black.
Someday I will get the chrome ones but this will do for now. I still have to clean and polish them but I will wait for the glue to set first.

Man you know I love DIY mods.
Maybe shoulda hammered the edge flatter, and cleaned it up just a bit with a dremmel or sanding disc, but I like it. Should look good once it's polished and some high temp clear sprayed on it.

That is cool, if you use wizards metal polish on them they will look very close to chrome. Good work.
