The program that we use is Adobe Photoshop. If you are going to buy it, be prepared to spend about $600+ for it.

I use photoshop, elements, photoimpact & photodluxe. It depends on what I want to do. Each program has it's features.

There are tons of photoshop programs out there. You can download quite a few of them for free on the internet (especially the older versions). Also, very often, digital cameras, printers, scanners, come with installation CDs that have those programs included (for free). And of course, there are "ways" of getting every program at a "reasonable" price

I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended on Mac, but that is part of what I do for a living.

Adobe Photoshop Elements is most likely overkill for anything you would need. As mentioned Gimp is also a free alternative.

~$180 for the photo and video editing software intended for personal use.

http://www.adobe.com/products/psprelements/

I use both for home and work and haven't found any limitations or shortcomings.

Sure your not talking about CS4 Master Collection? On adobe's website it is $2500 but it includes just about all of adobe's programs.

I'll answer the question since I don't know you or "WHO" you work for but yes...that's the version. It has about 13 or 14 adobe proggies plus bridges, extenders and dreamweaver etc... It's freakin AWESOME!!!! The new magic wand tool in PS4 alone is to die for!
