Default afe CAI STAGE 2

I recently put a AFE Cai Stage 2 on my 98. Does anyone know of any water issues with this? The reason I ask is that it goes pretty far down, close to the fog light areas. The entire stock box is removed and its just the filter down there. Not sure if I notice anything from this mod. It is identical to the Blackwing of the same type. I can tell if I open the hood in the rain or wet the filter would recieve the water from the hood as well, I guess this is the same with all of this style CAI. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

i got a hood seal, but it looks really open under there. Anyone got pics of a Blackwing? or AFE installed? Maybe I didn't do something right. The whole oem box had to come out for this thing to fit right. The filter, back shroud, as well as front shroud, is this normal?

I have a hood seal installed. It just looks very easy for water to get in that area from rain. I don't plan on going through puddles but I can't stop the rain.

Red do you have a pic of yours installed? I can't seem to get a direct answer on if everyone had to remove all of the old box, which leaves it going against the front bumper. Just want to make sure mine is the same and nothing is hookie.
