Prices will level unless the depression hits.
Almost all good condition lsx based cars are worth 9k+ if there in good shape and decent miles. There are a lot of F-body based cars bring between 8k and 9k and the vettes are always worth more. You have to look at cars like the last gen Rx7. You can't touch a nice one for under 14k also the NSX is continues to hold value. Each year there are more and more wrecked C5's which also helps the value.
The C5 has so much going for it.
Insurance is cheap
Mpg is fantastic for a sprots car
Parts are easy to find
