i want a supercharger!!! i have to save up...next winter i will be doing it! till then i want to get headers and offroad xpipe and a new clutch...
Yeah they are nice....
Only reason i posted was, because i no longer have my 03 Z06, but i did have Fran take off all of my parts (headers and supercharger, etc.)..
i am trying to sell everything... already sold the headers....
ok thats good....i was worried there. i had a cam only trans am before and that was $1200 install alone. If i dont have to do internals i dont want to.
Check with Fran, i am sure he will get you a good deal on parts and installs. He did for me, that is why i went with the cam at the time of the supercharger install..
Dynos are simply tools for verifying changes. You can make a dyno say whatever you want based on the correction factors, PSI in the tires, where you put the air temp gauge etc.
'02-'03 Z06s make 350-360 rwhp over and over... anything higher is generally ODS (optimistic dyno syndrome).
^ Not sure why the theory of "factory freak" still persists. The way motors are built today that just doesn't happen. It's all in the dyno.
Dont know if I buy this. The factory can make 200 motors and out of that number none will dyno the same. Some will be close but its a few outta 200 that are not normal.Same specs as the others but make more power.

A dyno jet corrects for the weather it self. It has a built in weather station. The settings were on SAE with a smoothing of 5. Thats basically the industry standard. We have taking cars from my DJ to others in the area and they dyno almost EXACTLY the same.
Mine was the same (371rwhp) and the torque was right around there but I don't recall exactly. My only mods were shorty headers and a k&n replacement filter.
Obviously you have the itch for more. It will never end.
