Default Electical Issue? Need Help!

Howdy all.
Driving the car Saturday and the gauges and DIC went nuts. DIC said reduced power, service car soon, check tire pressure, shocks inoperable and top speed 80mph. Gas gauge went to E, oil gauge went to E, temp gauge maxed out. The stability control and airbag lights came on. The car would not respond to commands from either of my key fobs. The dash lights that stay on a few seconds when you exit the car did not go off when I turned the car off, even after a couple of hours. At that point I just disconnected the battery. All this time the car drove no differently than usual.

I had read on some posts that a weak battery will cause some weird things to happen. I needed one any way so I replaced my battery. Test drove the car and within a couple of miles all of the shenanigans began again. Any tips on where to start looking for my gremlin?

Thanks to all for their help and expertise!

A weak battery will do that however, I first suggest that you check the door acordian tubes for a wire in there that can and will short to the frame. This was discovered by Bill Curlee.
