Tire pressure warning system
Any suggestions, any at all (except throwing the car away and getting a coupe) will be much appreciated.
Regards as always.
PS I am a freak about tire balance. I threw away my 1991 ZR-1 system because of the way the sensors strapped around the wheel. I never was happy with the precision of the wheel balance (sometimes I like to go really fast, and once one blew apart from centrifugal force-probably already damaged). But I am aware that just about everything out there now has solved that issue. But I know next to nothing about offerings on complete add-on systems, that's why I am posting.
I really would appreciate any and all ideas and links (I assume there are older posts, but I know this area of technology is changing fast, so I am kinda restarting the discussion if there was one).
Thanks in advance, Arthur in Baton Rouge

Knew these were out there but never heard any feedback here. I'm not positive what they fit without banding.

Got the sensors from www.gmpartshouse.com
||--Genuine GM C5 Tire Pressure Sensors/TPM--||
2001-2004 Sensors
25773946 - sensor – 38.80 each
15234846 - nuts – 3.73 each
Total setup of 4 is 186.79 shipped
I had a friend with a Tech-II turn on the sensors.
You could have your dealer do it as well.
Then programmed the sensors with a strong magnet.
They have worked flawlessly now for over a year.

other than the sensors themselves, everything else is already in the car - just needs to be turned on.
Keep us posted
