Alcoas are a more gunmetal grey, and the spokes have a sharp edge to them. The Speedlines have a radiused profile - round and smooth the touch.

I do believe the Speedlines have the word "Speedline" stamped/cast on the back of one of the spokes.

The alcoa's have the part number in a dot type print stamped on the back of one of the spokes.

I have a set of each and looking at them you can't really tell the difference unless you look closely, I tried the center cap off 1 of the alcoas on one of the speedlines and the color is identical.

If you cant tell the spoke profile visually or by touch, then the wheels you are looking at might not be 2000 year production Alcoa C5 Z06 wheels.

The spoke edge of the 2001 model year wheel is destinctly sharper than the 2002 through 2004 wheel, and the colour was clearly different when placed side by side.

I had a few sales for my original (which I now regret selling) 17" and 18" Alcoa wheels, fall through, as the colour was different enough to stand out on the same side of the car.
