After a recharge of the battery my abs and active handling light, are on, i reset the computer but it still remains, I am going to look at the codes tonight,
I think i heard in the past it could have to do something with a bad ground in the battery, any other ideas, i find it unlikely both went bad at the exact same time.

Turn the key on and pump the brakes up. I had the same issue a week back after I did a pad shim install. It was getting a code becase I had to compress 1 of the 4 calipers to get the pads out. Unequal pressure.
Check the codes and try a reset after you pump the brakes.
