Default memory seat.......

how do you program and use the memory function for the electric seats on a c5? I'm new to this........

Adjust the seat to where you want it, push and hold #1 till it blinks twice. If you want two different positions, do the same as previous, then push #2 till it blinks twice. All set, game over. Enjoy...

And you can also hold both buttons at once and get a third position saved.

the memory 1/2/3 positions are associated with the FOBs - the one you program as your 1st FOB = memory position 1, ect...

My memory postitions do not seem to be working since I got the car out of storage. The power seats work when you use the seat bottons. The memory buttons blink when I push them. The seats don't move when the memory buttons are puched. ? They worked fine when I put the car away though...

Justin - this is covered in the owners manual. If you don't have a copy, you can download one for free from gmpartshouse.com web site.

But the procedure is like described above.

The third position preset works great if you want to push the seat all the way back, while keeping the car running.
