Decision on Wheels
Ive been searching and searching for a good wheel and tire package for my 01 Z06, I'm leaning toward a set of CCW rims , I found a set on Zip corvettes , only thing holding me back is that, qoute( Front set measures 19"x10" with 275/30ZR19, Rear set is 19"x11" with 305/30ZR19. Wheels will not fit aftermarket brakes without modifications).
I don't understand why they won't fit aftermarket brakes? I whant to some day upgrade my breaks to the c6 Z06 kit, so I'm looking for a set of rims that will clear,,, Any Ideas??

One thing I do know (at least in the past) is that CCW is very expert at Corvette fitment issues and will discuss anything you wish. I do not have the answer to your question, but while you are waiting for other replies here, you should give them a call.
CCW are really pros about Corvette fitment issues. No, I don't have their wheels, but have talked with them before, especially about my older 1991 ZR-1, where there were almost no options. The only people who even tried seriously (in those days) for me was CCW.

The C6z06 Calipers are huge. If I remember right the only CCW wheel that will clear C6z06 Brakes for a C5 is the SP500. You HAVE to Call CCW and have them Custom Milled for the Bigger Brakes. You cannot order The SP500's from Zips or any other Vendor and get them to fit. You must Call CCW.

Thanks , I'l give CCW a call. Just spoke with CCW , he told me I can upgrade my brakes to the C6 Z51 package , rotors and calipers, Not sure if thats gonna make a big difference though in stoping power. Or they can make the rims to fit a big brake set up , but then I lose the lip or deep dish , which would suck. But then I really dont need a deep lip on the front , only on the back, I'm gonna give him a call again at the end of the month when I'm ready to order , and ask him again.
