I had my 04 vert in the gartage all winter and started it about once every 2 weeks, then covered it and didn't start it for a while. It has a new Die Hard battery, bbought right before I settled it in for the winter. I now had to charge it and trickle charge, ran it for about 30 minutes and then left it for a week-dead again, so I charged it and let it trickle now.
Any ideas why this happens?
Thanks guys.

C5's will gobble batteries like there is no tomorrow. If you are going to let your car sit for several days between drives, then the best investment that you can make is a smart charger like the CTEK 3300 or a Battery Tender.
These chargers are not trickle chargers, rather they apply a maintenance charge only when the battery requires it, the rest of the time they simply monitor the state of the battery.
There are many computers and sensors that all draw milliamps of power, but when you combine them over several days, the batteries get drawn down, to the point that the car will not start. If the voltage drops below about 11.8 volts, the car won't start. Get yourself a smart charger and you will thank me later!

Bad idea, starts and short trips are battery killers.
