It came with a great instructional CD, so if you can follow directions, anyone can do it. I won't bore you w/ entire install, but I will tell you what turned out to be the most difficult (for me) part. Removing the stock shift ****! The plastic center pops right out quick. NOW the biggest problem... removing the little baztid metal wedge!! I have heard it refered to as the "demon key" aptly named. I had to walk away from it after following directions failed, Yarning on it w/ pliers & giving myself a blood blister. I was on my way to get the hacksaw when I had an epiphany. A paint can opener! YES, It popped out in 10 seconds with that. So remember that when you do yours (if you haven't already). This thing is awsome! What a difference a $250.00 mod can make. Just do it!
So nothing left to grab I am assuming. I feel your pain. Looks like it's time to pick out a new ****. GM partshouse (Gene Culley) can probably get you OEM if that's what you've decided you want. Good luck!
