No I was,nt seeing things I saw a C6 that had a C5 z06 looking top on it.I did,nt think to ask if it started life out as a vert or a coupe.
It had the waterfall so I think it was a vert.It was a nice job and this is not to **** off my coupe bros but I think GM missed the boat on this one because the rear did,nt look like someone had taken a foot off of it
I think what you saw is a C6 convertible or folding hardtop. There's one in this area and it was really an attention getter the first time I saw it. I understand GM only made about 500 of them. The hardtop folds up and disappears into the rear just like a convertible. They were only made in 2005.

Several places sell this top. It goes on verts and I agree it makes the car look great, the coupe rear glass just looks a bit big to me and they should have made a roofline like this for the new Z06.Just like they should make a targa or vert Z06 the exotics do it and do the same speed if not more.
