I did a search a while back and just tried again but found nothing this time for some reason.
I have the 12 disc changer and want to hook up my 160GB Classic iPod and eliminate carrying a slew of CDs around. I wondered what is the best route for me to take to hook it up? My deck is the factory CD.
I heard that the iPodtoCar is good but has been drailing some batteries. That might have been a while back. Any recent updates or news on that?
I have had the Ipod2car installed for the past year with no problems or issues. It is an easy installation and will give you the best sound quality available...way better then the fm transmitters out there.
If you do not have the 6 CD changer in the trunk, the connectors for the cable that goes to the changerin the trunk are at the fuse panel under the carpet on the passenger side on the lower right hand side. There are two connectors, one may be hidden under the side carpet tapped to another cable (this was the case on my C5) the other was pinned to the side of the fuse box lower right. You can buy the cable for the 6 CD changer and connect to these two connectors, then use the iPOD to radio cables.
