Default 03 z06 skipping

Hey all i have my car being tuned at the local tuner and it has developed a skip in the # 2 # 4 coils at 2100 to 2300 rpm has anyone ever encountered this problem before ?? And if so what was the solution, it is not the coils or wires or plugs.......

Thanks in advanced Tom

Does it still do it if you set the tune back to before the local tuner touched it?

And your sure it's not the plugs / wires etc?

Hmm, it might be an inconsistency with the timing since you did say you just got tuned. There could be a gap or spike in the timing table that's causing the car to miss. Your tuner should be able to look it over for you for free.

3 weeks would be a long time. 3 months is ridiculous. i'd take it somewhere else.

Did you do any research on your tuner before you had him work on your car,you should really check to see if he took the short bus to school, try taking it to PEP Boys I hear there pretty good...

I'm with the "let someone else look at it" crowd. 3 months is retarded for any problem.

That being said, the one part everyone overlooks are the connectors. Check to make sure all the pins are straight and fully/firmly seated.
