Lifter Tick?

Just wondering if it is normal to hear your lifters while holding the car around 3000 rpms in 2nd gear. I know we have high compression motors but I feel like the lifters are a little louder than normal. Does anybody think it could be a weak lifter and or injector getting stuck? I know it's hard to explain without having a video clip but any advice would be appreciative

Thats what I figured..it just sounds louder than normal but it could be because I just hadn't noticed it in the past.

A little piston slap on a cold startup is normal, but that should go away. My valvetrain is pretty quiet.

Buy one of these and place it on various spots on the block to see where it is coming from while someone holds the rpms where you think the problem occurs.
