About 90% of the time my car starts up with no problems. The rest of the time I go to start it and it stalls or just doesn't start. The only way it will start is to give it gas while I am turning the car over. Could this be a ground and if so where would I start looking. Thanks
Should ask the moderators to move this to the Tech area. My first instant thought is if you are getting fuel. Second thought is if the MAF is clean or not. Past that are lots of possibilities...what's the status of the battery? Battery connections clean and tight? Have you pulled the codes yet to see what the car is reporting?

The car is reading no codes and the maf is clean. As far as the battery the car is turning over just not starting until I give it a little gas. Maybe I should replace the fuel filter. Thanks
Just because its turning over, doesn't mean there's enough voltage to run it. Might check the static battery voltage with a meter. Also, take a look at the ground wires attached to the rear of the driver's side head...make sure they are tight.
