Another MESV project done!!!!
Today was a good day in the MESV Man Cave! Moosee, Me, Johncbourg, Andy M., FLATOUT, Z06joe & Barmstrong235 all gathered today to continue work on Z06joe's Heads & Cam install. The heads are PRC stage 2.5 heads with PRC double spring kit. The cam is a 230-228-.592-.571 on a 112 MTI x1 cam. We're waiting on the tune to install the 42 lb injectors. The tune will be at the end of this week hopefully. Stay tuned for numbers! We had a good time & even had a few out of town visitors from the forum. It took us about a week total & that was with working on it off & on throughout. Here are some pics...
All back together and runs beautiful.... ruff and choppy. Just like it a camed vette should.

engine comp. looks awesome.love the flames.
how long did it take for the install?
we had a few set backs.. we really started monday after work cracking on it.. 16-20 hours total.. could have had it running friday night if it wasnt for somethings out of our control.
joeys car is one of the cleanest cars I've ever worked on.. Honestly it makes you very, very nervous. but I think its even cleaner now then before we started..
Car runs great, and will spin the stock tires with little effort.. I was just crusing around the block and 2/3 throttle in 2nd and it was spinning.
Dead on.. that pic is probally my favorite of the week!
Another thing was nice was my speed dial.. good friend of mine has probally done 50-100 cars at his shop.. Jason was a great friend and walked us through some problems..
