Default Removing Carpet...

I need to remove the rear carpet from my 04 Z06 prior to instaling some sound proofing material and my new roll bar...

Is it possiable to remove the carpet w/o removing all the plastic trim...

If not...how does all the trim come out

It's not nearly as bad as it seems.
Check VE's site for directions.

Unscrew the 4 plastic pieces on the back wall. Use a small screwdriver to pop out the plastic retainers in the botton side of the horizontal plastic trim under the rear window. Pull that trim piece forward till it pops out. Remove the 2 plastic clips under the trim piece you just removed. Pop open the plastic covers at the top of the seat belts. Remove the bolt holding each seat belt at the top. Look for 1 plastic clip on each side that holds the side window weatherstripping to the plastic trim piece. From the front edge, push the trim pieces towards the center of the car. Go back to the trunk and pull the trim pieces on the rear part of the wheel wells towards the center of the car. At this point, the carpet will be held in place only by velcro, or because it's tucked under or around something, so just start pulling it out.
