Passenger airbag disable
Hi Guys,
Just became the proud owner of a '99 vette. As I have a little boy, I'd like to take him out for a ride sometimes. To do this, I have to disable the passenger airbag, but as you guys know, there isn't a switch in a '99.
Is there a DIY method or a kit that can be purchased to disable the airbag? If so, what vendor?

You need a switch. Do it the right way. I bought mine from AOI electrical. There are some other brands out there, you might do some research. I have no problems with mine, and trust me, you don't want any uncertain feelings when it comes to an airbag.

GM sells a disable kit - that would be your best bet.
