Why go through all that hassel when A. You can find a socket to hammer on and get it off within 10 seconds. B. You can go to a hardware store (sears if its close) and buy the reverse socket. I really wouldnt want to go tearing apart the garage just to find a key when the lug can be removed easily. It wont damage or scratch your rim unless you miss hitting the socket and hitting your rim with the sledge . Thats what i would do. Honestly id just use a socket and get it over with....
Been there. My lug key was missing when I got my vette. Didn't know it until I brought it in for new tires. Just do as suggested in the initial replies or let the tire shop take them off. Not a big deal if they chew up the locks. I replaced my ruined locks with 4 regular lug nuts from Pep Boys for a couple buck each. I have wagon wheels, so I don't worry about someone stealing them.
seriously, it's so easy to get those off, they're a waste of money. If they want your wheels, the bad guys can get them off just as easy. Hell, they can probably do it faster since they'll have done it before. Take the "locking" lugs and trash them. Get regular lugs that you can get off without worrying about finding a "key" for it.

It also had information for ordering a replacement. Might want to check in your owners manual for something like this, or with paperwork that originally came with yours. I'll try and locate this tonight to give you some more info. I'm fairly certain these were orignal equipment locking lugs from the factory, even though I bought my vette used.
My '00 had the same piece of paper. Hopefully you'll be able to find it in your documentation. You might also try a large Chevy dealership if there is one nearby - they just might have a set of the keys that they could try on your car.
