just got a new v1 radar detector today I hope all you guys and gals who say they are great are right will give it a test tomorrow

It will not let your down! I dont not speed very often but love knowing its there. Its amazing just to watch how well it works.

It will get better the more you use it, as the GPS learns the signals and rejects the common false alarms. I love mine (I'd buy another if they'd ever come down in price for even older used ones.) Best of luck with your new toy. But remember it doesn't replace common sense.

Are you talking about the Passport 9500?? My V1 doesn't have GPS
