Default Window Valet Problem

I have a 2002 conv and put a WV in about 6 mo. ago. It has been operating well until about 1 mo. ago. Three times I have locked the car via the 3 button presses trick. When I come back, the windows are down. The car is still locked, but the windows are down. After the first time, I have been careful not to accidentally press a button while walking away. Has anyone else this happen? Any ideas?

Re program your windows. In addition to arming the alarm, three clicks on the remote also trys to raise the windows. If your sensitivity is high low, it will roll them down to avoid what it reads as an obstruction.

Good Luck

Make sure you program it with the top UP!!! I had the same problem and I had installed mine the first time with the top down.

it'll also go back down if you have the 2 windows at diff heights when trying to close. if one window closes before the other, they will go back down

That is a common prob with the unit, I have re programed mine a number of times and it still isn't trust worthy, I just always look and make sure the windows stay up.
