One of the worst wrecks I've ever seen
I work part time for a local Corvette salvage yard. We buy wrecked Corvettes almost every day. Even cars that are really hammered have at least some good parts on them that typically make it worth it for us to buy them. Lately the wrecks we have been seeing appear to be getting worse. Check out this car that just came in today....
We all just stood around with our jaws on the ground trying to figure out how fast this driver was going and what he/she hit. One can only hope that the driver survived this wreck but if you saw the car in person you'd probably think it would have to have been a miracle for this driver to have survived.
Not to be preachy but this type of wreck will flash through my mind whenever I have my vette out and I think about doing something stupid. In a split second your life can be turned upside down or ended.
My heart goes out to the family of the occupants of this car. All we know about the wreck was that it happened somewhere on Long Island.

I'd bet the engine is still fine. If the engine is good that makes it worth it but it is a bit of a guessing game when you can't be there to inspect the car in person but then again most times with a wreck this bad the cost does not even hit 4 figures.

I believe that this was reported on the northeast section a month or so ago. Driver was alone and killed. I believe that he was thrown from the car after it hit a tree?

that first wreck is terrible and is certainly a tragedy as are many of these wrecks... But this blue one is the one I thought you were gonna say is the worst you've seen. You work at the shop in bristol, right? I remember seeing this car on the website recently.

The blue car looks like it was cut in half after the accident and the front half was stacked on the back half probably for ease of moving it. In all honesty in person the first car looks worse. Yes, I work at that shop.
