Security light gremlins!!!

Security light gremlins!!!
Randomly over the last few days my security light has begun coming on by itself while I am driving. No problems starting the car or locking or unlocking the doors. Anyone have a clue what might be causing this or how I can get it to go away short of a trip to the stealership?

I had the same thing happen on a bumpy road and asked the same question. There was a reason but I can't recall exactly what it was that was happening. Worn ignition or something like that and the key chip and fob were bouncing. Didn't do any harm. Happened just that one and hasn't happened since.

Will suggest that you clean the pellet on your key first otherwise the pellet's contacts inside the ignition switch are getting dirty or worn out. Do you have a lot of junk hanging on the keychain? If so, that will cause it to wear out faster.
